What's due, what's next and what's waiting on you, on one screen. Most mornings it's the only one you need.
Free.

Notes, lists, medicines, dates and all the things you said you'd deal with, in one app on your iPhone. Ask finds any of it and gets things done, and it runs on your phone, not in someone else's cloud.
What it does
What's due, what's next and what's waiting on you, on one screen. Most mornings it's the only one you need.
Free.
Type it the way you'd say it. Ask adds, finds and logs things across Walnut, on your phone. If it can't do something, it tells you rather than guessing.
Free. Works with every module on your plan.
Drop a task in the moment it turns up, sort it into Now, Next or Later, and tick it off with a moment to change your mind.
Free: up to 25 active todos. Unlimited with Pro.
Lists that sort themselves by aisle, as many as you like. Clear what you've bought in one tap.
Free. Sharing a list with the household is Pro.
Type it, dictate it or snap a photo. It'll still be there when you need it, instead of buried in a chat thread.
Free: up to 20 notes. Unlimited with Pro.
Write down what happened while it's fresh. Mark an entry Secret and it stays behind Face ID, out of search, Ask and Memory.
Free: up to 20 entries. Unlimited with Pro.
Schedules, reminders and a dose history you can rely on. Mark a medicine Secret and its reminder won't say what it's for.
Free. The history graph for each medicine is Pro.
Your Apple Calendar events sit next to everything else, and you can add one just by asking. The events stay in Apple Calendar.
Free: one calendar. Every calendar with Pro.
Trips, renewals, deadlines and birthdays, kept in view while there's still time to do something about them.
Free: 3 active countdowns. Unlimited with Pro.
Ask yourself the same question each day or week: sleep, pain, mood, a habit. You end up with a record more honest than memory.
Free: 3 active check-ins. Unlimited with Pro.
Reusable lists for the things you always take. Mix and match them, tick things off as you pack, and start fresh next time.
Free.
With your permission, read-only Apple Health summaries put steps, sleep and heart rate next to the rest of your day.
Free: the last 14 days. Your full history with Pro.
The local forecast from Apple Weather on Today, plus a dated record so you can ask what the weather was doing.

Walnut keeps what you tell it as plain facts you can read, fix or delete, so Ask can answer from them. Each one shows where it came from.
Walnut Pro.
Itinerary, bookings, packing and the countdown for each trip, together. Share the packing with whoever's coming.
Walnut Pro.
Keep the bigger things in view next to the daily noise, broken into milestones small enough to actually start.
Walnut Pro.
Tap where it hurts on a 3D body and note how you feel. Over time the patterns show, and you can ask about them.
Walnut Pro.
A private history of where you've been, kept on your phone, so “where was I that Tuesday?” has an answer. Add an optional work timesheet if you need one.

Why Walnut
Notes, tasks, lists, meds, dates and a diary live together, so there's one place to look and each part makes the others more useful.
Stop scrolling months of messages for one detail. Ask Walnut and it finds it in your own records.
No account and no server to set up. Open it, choose which Apple features to connect, and the core tools work offline from then on.
Backup, restore and a full export are in Settings on every plan. Your records travel in one encrypted file that you control.
Memory · Pro
Most assistants ask you to trust a black box. Walnut shows its working.
What Walnut knows is written as plain sentences, like “My sister's name is Kate”, not data you can't check.
Every fact says where it came from: a note, a diary entry, a conversation with Ask, or something you typed in yourself.
Correct a fact when life changes, or delete it. Walnut keeps your correction and won't quietly bring a deleted fact back.
Free & Pro
Free has no trial timer and no adverts, and it's useful on its own. Pro adds Memory, Trips, Goals, Body & Mind, Location and shared lists, and lifts every limit.
Twelve everyday tools and two games, Nutshell and Colour Tumbler. Backup, restore and export are always free.
Find, add and log things in plain words, across every module on your plan.

Walnut turns what you write into plain facts you can browse, so Ask can answer “what did the garage say?” weeks later. Every fact shows its source, and you can fix or delete it.
Flights, hotels, the itinerary, packing and the countdown for each trip in one place, with the packing shared with whoever’s coming.
Turn the thing you keep meaning to do into milestones, link the todos that move it on, and see how far you’ve come.
Tap where it hurts on a 3D body and note your mood. After a few weeks you can see what flares up and when, and ask about it.
A private record of where you’ve been, kept on your phone. Ask how long you were at work on Monday, or switch on the work timesheet for hours and mileage.
Share a shopping, todo or packing list with the people you live or travel with. It’s encrypted on your phone first, so only they can read it.
As many notes, diary entries, todos, countdowns and check-ins as you need.

Questions
You. There's no account and no Walnut server holding your content, so we have nothing to look at. If you share a list, the people you invite can see that list.
No. The core tools and Ask work offline. Weather, shared lists and a few Apple Maps lookups need a connection.
On your iPhone. With Apple Intelligence it can write fuller answers. Without it, Ask still does exact actions, lookups and recall. Either way, it never hands your question to a cloud AI.
Any iPhone running iOS 26 or later. Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or newer) makes Ask more capable, but you don't need it.
No. If you use it, your encrypted Walnut backup can live in iCloud Drive and your normal iPhone backup includes Walnut. Shared lists travel through Apple's CloudKit, encrypted. Walnut doesn't sync your whole database between devices.
Nothing is deleted. Pro modules lock, the free limits apply to anything new, and everything stays in your backups and exports. Pick Pro up again and it's all there.
They keep what you type and wait for you to find it. Walnut connects it: Ask answers from all of it, and Memory turns what you write into facts you can check.
No. Meds and Body & Mind are your own records and reminders. Walnut doesn't diagnose anything or give medical advice.
Free on the App Store for iPhone. Requires iOS 26 or later.
